Samsung Galaxy Note 10: the one feature we all wanted is coming

Samsung will launch a 5G-enabled version of the Galaxy Note 10, new code unearthed in the Galaxy S10 all-but confirms

Samsung will debut a new entry in its popular Galaxy Note series this summer. The range typically builds on the features introduced with the latest Galaxy S handsets launched earlier in the year, with an increased focus on productivity and new stylus-based functionality. 
We're still six months away from a Galaxy Note 10 release date, but we've already heard a torrent of rumours about what to expect with the next-generation Note, including the number of cameras, industrial design, and the fact that it looks set to discard the 3.5mm headphone port. 
However, one important detail was missing from the leaks so far – we hadn't had confirmation that Galaxy Note 10 would ship with support for 5G networks.

Huawei launches operating system for Android

Chinese telecom giant Huawei unveiled its own operating system yesterday, as it faces the threat of losing access to Android systems amid escalating US-China trade tensions. The highly-anticipated software is considered crucial for the tech group’s survival as it confronts a looming White House ban on US companies selling technology products to Huawei which could remove its access to Google’s Android operating system. Richard Yu, the head of Huawei’s consumer business, revealed HarmonyOS or HongMeng in Chinese at a press conference in the southern city of Dongguan. Samsung Galaxy Note8 is the best screen DisplayMate has ever tested

IFA is taking place later this week in Berlin, and as usual there will be plenty of mobile-related events. Samsung's is scheduled for August 30 at 6 PM local time, and today the Korean company took to Twitter to release its first teaser for the grand unveiling of its next wearable. For reference, the Samsung Galaxy S8 also scored an A+ on DisplayMate’s tests (the Galaxy S7 and S7edge have won the same title in the past),and the Galaxy Note8 has beat the S8’s excellent score.
