The Galaxy S9 is tipped to have the same 18:9 display found on the Galaxy S8 and will come with 4GB RAM coupled with 64GB storage Information circulating the Internet suggests that Samsung’s next flagship, the Galaxy S9 will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 Platform, sport 4GB RAM and 64GB built in storage and run Android O out of the box. The smartphone is also expected to have a new Samsung TouchWiz UI. It is also possible that there will be a variant of the smartphone that will be powered by the Exynoss SoC. Huawei launches operating system for Android

Chinese telecom giant Huawei unveiled its own operating system yesterday, as it faces the threat of losing access to Android systems amid escalating US-China trade tensions. The highly-anticipated software is considered crucial for the tech group’s survival as it confronts a looming White House ban on US companies selling technology products to Huawei which could remove its access to Google’s Android operating system. Richard Yu, the head of Huawei’s consumer business, revealed HarmonyOS or HongMeng in Chinese at a press conference in the southern city of Dongguan.
