Samsung Galaxy S8 gets new update, keeps the same November security patch

Image
Samsung smartphones that will receive an update to Android Pie will move from Samsung Experience UI to One UI. According to previous info, the Galaxy S8 is in tow for such a switch, but if you have received the latest update, prepare to be disappointed, because it brings neither new OS nor updated security patch. The new software update is version G950FXXU4CRKG / G950FOXM4CKR1 / G950FXXU4CKR1 and is 451 MB in size. According to the log, it brings device stability improvements and bug fixes, along with “new and/or enhanced features” and “further improvements to performance”. All these keywords sound great on their own, but the Galaxy S8 users are now waiting for bigger updates to the OS. The security patch is still dated November 1, 2018, even if the actual update is issued mid-December. Source  : Via

It offers everything the iPhone 7 does – speedy performance, water resistance, loud speakers, great cameras – but adds some clever features that in many are more important than flashy specs. On the other hand, the 7 Plus costs a small fortune. The weakened pound means this is the most expensive iPhone we’ve ever seen released
